Did you find a home yet, or will you be shopping when you get here? I can recommend one whom I bought my home from and who I used to sell some property.

Will your family be embarassed if we show up at the airport with a big "WELCOME TO FAIRBANKS RESQDAWG3" poster? Just kidding, but that would be pretty funny.

I'm sure the military has resources available for you to figure things out about the Fairbanks area, but feel free to contact me anyway if you have any questions or need any help.

Anyway, welcome to Fairbanks. Hope you didn't get lost in the airport

Yep! We're here now. Made it in on the evening of the 4th, no problems, except for the airlines loosing our baggage. :lol Got the truck out of the VPC on the 5th and it doesn't like the cold. I went and bought an extension cord the other day so I can plug it in and make it a bit more happier.....

Anywho, yep, I'm on AO too. SN is SkiZero. We're currently residing in Billeting on Eielson right now, and looking for a place to stay.

Welcome to Alaska Resqdawg3. I'm sure your gonna love it!! So how do you like seeing the sun at 9:30 at night?? and it's not even summer yet. Don't worry bout the truck not liking the cold too much....it'll get warm soon enough. Keep her plugged in of a night and you'll be just fine.

Again welcome to Alaska......Land of the Midnight Sun!!!

Chris I will be in Anchorge the 26th up till the 1st of May. Do you want that trailer during that time frame or do you want to wait until later? I'll bring it over if you need it then.

I don't need it right away Mike. My plan is to build a large "mud box" on it out of 2x4's and OSB and pack my stuff in it then wrap it in tarps. So I don't need it right away. So what ever works for you. I'll be back in the 30th.
