alternator bearing noise

I have an alternator bearing that is making noise that I have to fix? Just wondering can a noisy bearing be replaced in a alternator? Or is it best to replace the alternator? 93 Ranger 4.0 color white

Take the alternator to a shop that rebuilds alternators/starters etc. and have them change out the bearing, and check the alternator out in the process to see if it's even worth it. It would suck to change the bearing just have the alternator fry a week or three later.
