will p305/35/r24 tires fit????

i have a 2000 hd f-150 and i have just purchased a set of 24 inch rims for it. I will be recieving the rims next week and was just wondering will the P305/35/r24 tire fit with no mods. I have had a couple of people say they will and a couple that said i need 295's. Could anybody give me some info on this.
