We got a lot of rain in Albany today. When there is that much rain the water runoff from the back lot overflows the drainand water starts comming in the shop.( Yeah I had to work today [ 1-02-06]) We had gone about an hour with no lightning so it wasn't even on my mind.

I was in the back corner of the shop standing in about 1/2" of water when lightning struck! All I can say is THAT HURT!

A co-worker said I did a half yell, he turned and saw me shaking and then drop to my knees. Then the lights went out.

I remember tingling and seein the lights go out but I swear I don't remember yelling. Bossman insisted the I go to the ER even though I felt fine.

I am glad to report that everything is ok. And I will never be standing in water during a storm again.
