Thank goodness I have been done for weeks! Now I need to pull off the joke of the year on my wife and live to tell about it!

Rod you are going to be on thin ice pulling a prank on the wife.

 

I pulled it off and lived! I also pulled one on my Mom and Dad!

 

What were the jokes?

 

The first was on my wife! She only wanted one thing and sent me an e-mail of the item back in August. To set it up for you it is a kitchen island unit. It is in a box about 4x2x2 feet and is 145#. I had it delivered to some other address and the few weeks before Christmas she keep saying I only want one thing. I told her I lost the e-mail and she re-sent the e-mail. Well she never saw anything arrive here and when she would ask I would say is “I hope you are not disappointed.” She talked to my mother a few days before Christmas and she let on like she knew nothing.

We open at my parents with my daughter on Christmas day and she did not see and BIG packages. She looked in the garage and did not see it. After we had opened she looked around and found a card in the tree with her name on it. The card was from me and in side was a picture of the cabinet and a note to look in the bedroom!

She liked it!

The other was on Mom and Dad. The have 3000 feet on 8mm movies and for several years they asked about converting it to DVD or having them re-done. The movies are from late 1949 to 1970 and were falling apart. Well I went to there house the 1s of November and found the movies and took them from the house! Well I did not know if they would be noticed missing by them.

Well they did not miss them and was even in the cabinet they were in and did not notice. They were surprised to see what they were and my Wife, Daughter and I keep telling them things like; The can’t be replaced, They are antiques and We want to know if you had any idea what it is?
