Minnesota guy has some questions

Hello, I was wondering if anybody knows of some good whelling or mudding spots near Savage. If you don't know where savage is, it is right off of burnsville 15 minutes out of minneapolis. Is anybody around here? I know lots are from mankato, we actually bought our travel trailer down at gags trailer sales. We also dropped it off down on a farm to get some fiberglass repair done on it. While we were down there, I did see some really good whelling spots. I was just wondering if anybody knew of any down here.

Unless you know somebody with private land, you're pretty much screwed for offroading around the metro area. There's the Off Road park up in Gilbert, and some of the 4x4 clubs have places they go that are on private land. Maybe check with one of the 4x4 clubs about joining.

There's an off-road club in Mankato. I think it's called Valley Off-Roaders. They have places they go I'm sure.

If anyone knows a good spot in the twin cities area that would be great. All the searches i did online only had 4x4 clubs to join, and i don't really want to join one of those right now. I just want a small spot (or a big one) where i can get some mud on the tires without getting a ticket or anything.

go-4 wheelers, or gopher four wheelers. Or however they spell it. They are in Four Wheeler and 4-Wheel and Offroad mag. atleast once a year. They should know a place to go.
