1990/2002 Ford Light Truck Parts Catalog sez: E = E4OD or 4R100.
E9TP-7A040-CB is not the trans ID number. It's the ID number for the extension (tailshaft) housing.
E4OD & 4R100: The transmission ID tag is on the drivers side of the case, just behind the manual control lever.
The code may resemble this: F7SP-AA / The model number will resemble: PRA-AA.
