351M/400 with FMX trans. 2wd. Just come get it. I'm not sure what engine it is, I haven't had the time to pull the pan and look at the crank. The valve covers say 400, the vin says 351 w/C6 so there's no telling. I need some garage space back. I've had it in my garage for the past 3 years.

It ran when I bought the truck, I pulled it a week later and dropped in my 357 windsor It did have water in the oil when I pulled it. I think the plate behind the waterpump is notorious for rotting and leaking, but not sure.

I would put this in the classifieds, but I won't ship. I would rather have someone local have it.

Once again it's FREE PM me or reply.

Thanks,
Jamie

I checked out the casting numbers on the crank. They were 5mab so it is a 400. Thanks again.

Damn...if I wasn't so lazy I should have found that out. Whats crazy is my little brother finally brought back my engine stand yesterday. I guess I had to give away an engine to get my stuff back. Did you check out the plate behind the h2o pump to see if there's a hole? I hope it works out for ya.

I pulled the water pump. No hole there. I did notice a freeze plug was new and one looked bad. Thinking possibly whoever you got it from let it freeze. I will have to tear it down to see if the block is ok. Either way I can use the internals as I have a 351m I want to upgrade.
