Does anyone know a reliable, honest and worthy transmision repair shop in the brick/ wall township area? I need some work done, cant do it myself so I want to take it someplace where I wont get ripped off. So if any body can refer me to a shop that wont try to scam me, I would be most grateful!

 

the only place i know of is royal transmission is spotswood. pat has been doing trans rebuilding all his life (over 30 years), and took the shop over from his father. phone # is 732-723-1212

 

Thanks tjc, as a matter of fact, I know Pat Bowen . and his family. They lived down the street from me in south River years ago. I moved but dont know if they still are there or not, its been years since I have been back to South River.

 

not sure where pat lives now. i had not talked to him in over 20 years till the trans in the 88 diesel went, but he was the one that built me a new one. pat moved the shop from rt 18 to spotswood years ago after some kind of bs with the state.

 

Mr. Driveshaft without question!! They are on main st in farmingdale. I have had work done from them for years and wouldn't recomend anyone else. Great prices to. Ask for Sal or Bill and tell em' chris with the bronco sent you. Im getting mine rebuilt the middle of this month by them.

Yeah im in tinton falls and it only takes me about 20 mins. You cvan get to it from 34 im sure

 

well, I checked out the driveshaft guy, and its alot closer than spotswood, so I will drop my truck off thursday and he will take a look see...Sal seems like a very competant guy.
