Need help on heated seat question
The heating element on the drivers front seat on my wife's 98 Suburban went out (OK, feel free to chastise me for having a Suburban). Any suggestions on interior shops? Cost? Anyone have experience with repairing heated seats? This is only the drivers side not both.
I am not interested in replacing the seat. I would rather have it repaired if economically possible.

There is a heated seat module (p/n 12047786), it is a little square block unit wired in. Have you determined that is working? Other than that, it appears the only option is to replace the seat, I don't see any hints on the heater element replacement.....

Best I can tell is that it is located under the seat, wired in line with the seat adjusting motors. Look for it above the seat track, tucked under the seat bottom coushion, I would say on the right side of the seat (if sitting in it). I have only seen a picture, none of my vehicles have heated seats.
I sent you an email...
