I was recently introduced to an individual who's basically had everything wiped out from Katrina. He's in the metro Atlanta area, and is employed, but naturally money is very tight right now.

He's not asking for any hand-outs. He has a 1990 F-150 with a 300 straight six. The A/C on the truck is dead (compressor is shot) and he'd like to know if someone could help him get it repaired inexpensively. The best estimate he's gotten is $750, but if someone here could donate their skills to help out someone in need he'll pay you. As I noted, he doesn't want a hand-out, just a helping hand to ease the cost....
