Thumbs up International wins again...

Thanks to this forum, I was able to find part numbers for the Ford "vacuum switch" or "restricted fuel filter sensor" as international calls it. Mine started leaking a bit and after reading through many, many posts I found the info on this part. Thanks to everyone! These trucks can be expensive enough without Ford taking advantage of us.

Ford #E8TZ-9S283-A $58.00

International #1809435C1 $14.00

Fuel Filter Restricted sensor; on filter housing 94/95; on regulator block 96/97
(Ford) E8TZ-9S283-A

This is the sensor that triggers the "fuel filter" warning light on the dash. Looks like an old fashioned oil pressure sending unit with a single red with white stripe wire attached to the top. On my 97 it is located on the right side of the fuel filter on the fuel pressure regulator block.
