I found a F100

I found a clean 70s model f100. It has new paint & interior. It has a 351 w in it & auto tranny. Its near you Greywolf on highway 14 near Rosemont. I may try to buy it if the price is ok. I had several long bed early F100s & always wanted a sbed like this one. Should I buy it?

If the link won't work, do a search for Ford F100 at www.commercialappeal.com.

The link works but it doesn't have a pic of the truck. The one I saw is at highway 14 & 206. Its clean looking but I haven't heard it run.

Dee could probably be talked down to 6, or possibly even 5 hundred on his. It looks rough - but it has a C6 and a nine inch under it that would be worth the money all by themselves...

(The truck I put in the swap thread)

I don't need another truck but I miss my 68 Falcon coupe 289. I sold it after 15 yrs of good service instead of fixing the problems it had like a leaking manifold. I like the truck better. The Falcon was hard to work on due to the cramped engine bay. The truck is plenty of room under the hood. I know the early Ford trucks well having owned several f100s from 65 to 72.

I think it is mostly yellow, yeah. There was something about a tree service on the doors if I remember right (haven't been out today except to dig a firepit out this morning). Dee keeps it out in front of his storage shed.

I don't think I'll be buying anything till gas prices settle down. I'm afraid this hurricane may slow the economy.
