Why do they call "CATFISH" Seafood?

Its FISH....

Jeez O Pete, it's riverbottom fish, not SEAFOOD....

Can you just picture someone from out of state asking how much the "SALTWATER" license is in addition to fresh water? (In TN)

I can picture eyeballs the size of truck rims looking back after THAT question....

"Yeah, and for an extra fifty bucks we'll supply the rock salt for Ya..."

They say you can soak catfish meat in brine to take out the mud taste though.
