65 'Chero 4 lug brakes - pulls
ok - call me crazy but rather than swap out to 5 lug or disc brakes I rebuilt the 4 lug brakes. In hine site I wish Id swapped it out but right now we wont go there.
On the rear - turned drums, new shoes, hardware and cylinders
On the Front - turned drums, new shoes, hardware, cylinders, hoses, bearings
Also did the 67 dual curcuit master cylinder conversion (drum/drum)
Before all this work it pulled to the left with a bind (on dirt roads left front locked up). After all this work, it still does the same thing!! You can bleed the system and get no air, you can adjust the system till you have balanced drag both sides and still will pull. I must say that the pull is AFTER about 10 miles of driving (once shoes warm up). If you drive for about 50 miles, the left front starts to hang up and will not release after a stop for about 100ft or so.
What am I missing?
