Red face Well I did it

Went to Thunder Creek Harley here in Chattanooga & bought myself a Harley.

I've never felt so proud of myself in my life. It is the first NEW vehicle that I have ever bought off a showroom floor.

1200 Custom Sportster.

The custom parts have been purchased already. I have to be at the H-D dealership next Saturday to get them put on.

Thats a nice bike. Is it strictly 1200CC, or is it a 1380?

How do you like the new ride? I'd like a Harley myself. American Iron is the best.

I love it!! It is the most comfortable riding motorcycle I've ever experienced.

The bike is at Thunder Creek right now getting the exaust & other accessories put on it.

There showroom is full of the 2006 models now. Bunch of gorgeous bikes in there.

greywolf,
I'm not to sure about the actual CC's. Haven't read the owners manual yet.

Rode the bike down to Atlanta Saturday night then back up to Rome, Ga to catch some of the Lynyrd Skynyrd concert that was going on, then back here to Chattanooga.

One of the best riding bike's I've ever had on any stretch of interstate, especially I-75 going to Atlanta & back.

Skynyrd show wasn't bad either, but they are like everyone else. You've seen em once before & nothing much has changed.

I'm lucky enough to have seen Skynard 4 times before the plane crash. My first time was before Freebird was written. I saw them at La Tech In Ruston La. The band isn't as good now IMO.

I love Skynyrd but the plane crash was before my ability & go out and do things.

I saw them about 10 years ago when .38 Special was openning for them.
