GATHERING-FRIDAY 15JULY-GREYWOLFHOUSE in Drummonds

Check mapquest for:

138 Barton Road
Drummonds, tn

Bring burger, brew, hot dogs, and tunes.

We'll be lighting up a campfire - all are welcome!

~Greywolf

PS: You can stay over if you need to, there's lots of room. Bring a tent, just in case - there's a half acre and a campfire.

PPS: Iron Freeweights are available for those who workout. 360LBS of 45's so far - OLY plates, and a squat rack. Lots of other weights in sizes down from that, and four Dan Lurie Hundred Plates in standard bore for dead lifting....

Buddy, I'm sorry. Wish I could make it, but I won't be able to.

I'm away from home so much during the week I try to spend my weekends showing the kids a good time & take care of the household chores that get neglected while I'm gone.

I'll try to make it. I want to meet some members from this area. I know where Barton rd is too.

Umm - there IS a swing set in the backyard. Bring the youngsters too...

I'm thinking of digging down the firepit to sort of formalise it. I may also redo the archery range, so if you own a bow PM me.

-Also: Anyone with left over fireworks, we've got a lot of room out here - and nobody complains. Its good like that...

Now theres a possibility...
I've never been a part of organising something like that, but it seems like it wouldn't be all that tough with all the space available out here. I could talk to one of my neighbors who has a huge lawn that is seldom used for anything but 'lawn mower practice'... (seriously)

Hey, i have a semi-racing mower i tare around the yard in.

I've never organized anything like that either. But i would be glad to help. Gotta learn somehow.

Mabey we should see how many are interested an mabey could find a halfway point?? If someone would volunteer the land half way between Memphis and Nashville. If we do decide to do it.

I'm up by clarksville.

If i knew about it ahead of time i would defenetly take my old truck 4hrs to get there. It would have to be on a week end though if we did it. Probally trailer my 85' cause it only does 66-67.

I'm on a real strict budget, I need to find a decent job and/or get some roomates out at the place. The only thing holding me up on the roomate thing is my ex getting the rest of her junk out of here.

Can't believe it, shes outta here and still costing me money... I've heard about fifty million other guys say that at one time or another, but never really knew what it meant at the time.

She's gone and still costing you money!!!!

That sucks.

Its hard to find a good job these days. I've tried this summer but my age is a barrier. But next summer i have a job with my dad. Then fall 06' i'm off to collage.

It's hard when you don't need a job to get by like me, but when you need one to they seem harder to find.

The other end of the scale is to be way overqualified for what's in the area. Nobody hires a rocket scientist to work in a bait store...

Oh well - for the time being it gives me more time for these:

There's no money in it of course, but I have at least a bare minimum pocket change left after bills. If I spend most of my time getting back in shape while looking for a roomie and a decent employer it will have big benefits in the long run.

A retirement check is a beautiful thing!

There's always some way to make cash on the side anyhow.

It appears there may be a problem with this friday:

Thursday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high around 89. West wind around 5 mph. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

hursday Night: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low near 74. West southwest wind around 5 mph becoming calm. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Friday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 90. Calm wind becoming southwest between 5 and 10 mph. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Friday Night: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 75. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Saturday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly cloudy, with a high near 93.

We'll have to keep an eye on the weather, it might be nothing.

I'm an in-depth electronics tech, I specialised in RADAR for a long time. I also tinker with nearly everything I can get my hands on. I was also an instructor, and part of that was managing courses and developing electronically stored instructional media...

Its a long list, man.

I take it there is not much out in Drummonds then??

You could make some serious cash in the right area.
