I agree so what exciting things can we get started in here, heck I haven't been banned for anything in the Iowa chapter yet.

Racing the Marauder at CFR last weekend

And a guy named Adam (I hope I got your name right!) comes up to me and says he's seen my car on FTE! At first I had to think... FTE? FTE? He says, " You know, Ford Truck Forum" and then the bulb lit up!

Adam, thanks for coming out and watching me race!

Cheers!

John

well don't look in the NW chapter that can get a guy in trouble but talk about gerbils, and such does get a little interesting

and I have had people mention seeing my truck on FTE too kinda makes a guy feel pretty good doesn't it.
So how did you do at the races anyway thats always something we can talk about on here.

makes it worse for you when the headers are sticking straight up, rather than slightly muffled by being at ground level.. Just gotta love the neighbors, can't let a little bit slide... when are you supposed to work on it? It's not like it is a constant occurance.
Maybe we ought to be talking about when we can get a meet of some kind? It's been a while... plenty of things going on right now to attend or go play at in some form or fashion. Heck, we can just say let's have a small get together this time and place, those who make it great, those that don't maybe next time... just for me at this time, anything that requires cash is a problem, sure sucks being broke and out of work...

You guys were up lastnight.... glad to see some new posts! I finally got my tractor fixed so I have hydraulics again ( need to pull a couple engines). Good news was I was able to get it without parts, but the parts money I saved got spent for me on one of those blow up pools for the kids..... they need fun too! I just thought maybe I finally had a parts fund going!

Hey I just had to chime in here Im from Nebraska and enjoy checking in here from time to time. I check over in the off road forum an read Monsterbabies posts an wow what heck off a truck he runs. Mud bogs an Mud drags are a bit more popular over there then here. Although in Bruno,NE they have there annual event every year an man for the crowds that turn out an trucks. Its phenominal. That engine hes got in that truck of his what a screamer. Id love to see that truck run in person but his videos make it look awesome. Sorry to but in here but you guys have a nice forum here. Check on you guys later

don't be sorry, come back as often as you like! It depends where you are at, if you donn't mind a couple hour drive from the border, you could see him run, he's just south of Des Moines.I haven't made it there yet myself, funds... Someday...
We got one of those pools last year, managed to pick it up cheap. They aren't bad, the water maintenance is a pain...

FYI - Walmart is closing out for the seaon. We saved $50 or so on our pool. Beats the 2 grand my wife wanted on a no interset monthly payment deal she was looking at. I figure if I have to make payments..... it better be a new truck, a shop, or a house!

Pool maint is somewhat of a pain no matter what type. Our pool is an 18' round 4' deep. Nothing to brag about, but it'll cool you down and keep kids busy/happy.
