Smile Pull a Part

Have any of you N. GA. folks ever been to the Pull a Part places in Atlanta? I was wondering what kind of parts supply they have for 71,74,82, or 89 trucks.
Do they have a good supply of parts or are they very limited?

I need several parts:
'71 f250-hood, long bed, front pass fender, seat, custom emblems, and more
'74 f100-bottom chrome trim, ranger emblems, f100 emblems, short bed and more
'82 f100-seat, long bed, tailgate, bumper, door panels and more
'89 f350-front bumper, front crew cab seat, steering column, and more

I have a friend who is also looking for parts:
'72 f100- stepside rolled top bed, seat, custom and f100 emblems

If anyone can help me find these parts I would greatly appreciate it. Also if anyone has these parts i would pay a reasonable price for them and pay shipping or pick them up. Thanks fellas'

Ok here is the deal about pull-a-part. It is very picked through. On early seventies models you can usually find some decent body parts. Interior parts or engine parts in the truck are about impossible to find. There is an exception to the engine part rule. 300 sixes for some reason are much less picked through about the only thing usually missing from them is the carb. Beds, hoods, fenders, tailgates and cabs are very common grills are not. As much stuff as your looking for I would suggest going. They can save you some bucks on parts. The conley location has the higher selection of the older trucks Norcross here lately has had more newer trucks. When you look at the pricelist online keep in mind it does not list some of the miscallaneous charges you will pay a few more bucks for some parts depending upon what they weigh they call it a core charge. I go occasionally and have made some pretty good finds for my vehicles, but do not always find exactly what I am looking for. good luck on your parts search and I hope I made this detailed enough. If you need their web address just add .com to their name. It will tell you about vehicle availability but unfortunatly not part availability.

Sent you an e-mail concerning the need for a 71 long bed. I've got an old 67 chassis, cab, and long bed I'm needing to get out of the driveway and it might be something you could use. Would rather give it to someone who can use part of it than send it all for scrap.

If you are ever over here around Chatsworth, there's still a few yards with 67-72 & 73-79 trucks with decent parts on them . I might have some of what you are looking for around the house, I've collected a lot of extra parts rebuilding my 72 4x4 , 68, 69 , & two 70 f350's...

I've been there once or twice. I was lookin' for 2nd gen Explorer parts, of which they had none, but they seemed to have more older stuff there so you might be in luck. This was the one on Buford Highway. R&R is right down the road from there, they have a truck section there too. The only other yard I've been to in the area is Lance in Lawrenceville. They have several Explorers there so that's where I usually go. They seemed to have quite a few trucks as well, just more spread out.
