Question Need help with updating a '65 Econoline Panel

I was thinking of possibly putting the FI set up off a '87 & newer Ford Truck 300 cu in. on this motor if I can. Otherwise a motor swap might be better.

Is there a shifter to convert column shift to floor shift? I know that Mr. Gasket has a universal floor shifter, but has anyone heard anything about them on the Econolines?

I would imagine that by now someone has figured out some sort of brake swap to upgrade the fronts to disc. The current owner said the he thought that there was way to use Mustang/Maverick, but he didn't have any of the details.<!-- / message -->

Thanks for any help guys!
