need to register truck

Moved from Phoenix a few month ago and need to register the truck here now. I found out that I need a new windsheild due to a couple of cracks. Not use to this safety inspection stuff but I guess it's a good idea to keep only good working cars on the road. Some I saw in AZ were suprised they could still drive in such conditions.

Anyways I would have to emission my 93 diesel in Pheonix. Do diesels in utah county have emission requirements too? I've heard both ways.

I'm sure Utah county requires IM for diesel. Utah used to require the VIN to be verified with the registration/title, before registering an vehicle from out of state. Not sure if they still do it. A quick call to the DMV should answer any question you have and it'll keep you from making a return trip.

Hey goodie, how are you? I moved from Phoenix area(Mesa) a few years ago as well.
Not too sure on Utah county regs, Weber Co does not require diesel emmisions, whereas Davis does. Your best bet would be to call the DMV or MVD or whichever acronym they use here.
Good luck and welcome to FTE.

Well I found out there is emmissions for diesels but have to go to a specific testing station somewhere down in Spanish Fork.

mjwhip2, I'm doing good. Like seeing trees and mountains again. I'm sure not missing the summers down there.
