Question What Is Available for Tent Camping Accomodations, If Any?

Sorry if this has already been asked or covered extensively anywhere. If it has, then please point me in the right direction and delete this thread. If it has not been addressed then can someone tell me what is available for tent camping in the outdoors? I would like to attend but the costs of the event entry and travel expenses would make me seriously consider camping instead of paying for a hotel. I'm sure I'm not the only one that would go that route for lodging. Thanks for your time!

You may want to check these links and see if there is anything that appeals to you. If you discover a really good one, please let me know!

Thanks, Peggy. That KOA info is exactly what I was lookin for. Million, that thread was for Campers/RV'rs. I read it but did not see the tent camping info I was looking for. I don't plan to tow a camper. Thank you both.

Try searching for state and county parks that have camping. The area lakes have camping also. Clinton Lake out side of Lawrence, Longview/ Lake Jacomo/ Blue Springs Lakes, Smithville Lake all have camp grounds but I think they are all about 45 minutes from the event. I'm sure there might be something closer if you search.

Hillsdale has lots of spots for tent camping plus its an easy drive to the woodlands. I was out there last weekend with my parents, they take there trailer out there alot and I go along with my boat.
