Replacement Tires
Hello,
Anyone have opinions on replacement tires. I want to use the stock rims on my 04 Lightning, but am not crazy about using GoodYears. Other brands do not have the correct size, so should I move down to a 275/55 or up to a 305/45??
Only have 10K miles on it but am tired of shaking down the road.
Thanks,
Jasper

Goodyear, Nitto, and Toyo make the 295/45 18 for the truck.
Goodyear Eagle F1, Pro- great dry and wet weather traction, oem tire, sticky, best handling con- price $210+ tread life not long
Nitto 555- Great dry weather, sticky, good for dragstrip.(especialy 555r) con- Still $, not great in the rain, treadlife shorter than oem.
Toyo Proxies- Pro- cheapest 295/45/18 tires, longer treadlife. Con- harder than the other tires, so it dosent stick well.
also Hankooks is suposed to have a tire that will fit.
I like the Goodyears myself, best all-around for me.
