Is anybody in the IL Chapter planning on attending the FTE national rally? It is going to be held the last weekend of July in Kansas City, Kansas. It sounds like they are planning some fun events for that weekend. Carol and I are thinking about possibly going. We're thinking about maybe taking my 79 F100. The only problem is that it's a 351M, and gets about 12-14 mpg, and it doesn't have AC. The 73 does have AC, but it has a 390 V8, and gets maybe 7 mpg. I figure we could make the drive in one day if we drove for 12 hours, but I'm not sure if I want to spend all of that money on gas. Maybe gas prices will have gone down by then( yeah right, ha,ha).
