although i not an expert on cars/trucks for sure. i gotta laugh when some of these companies start crowing about how their complicated gas/electric engines are pushing a little car into the 50/60 mpg range..
hell, back in 85 i was getting 35/45 mpg with my(3500 lb) 4x4 diesel powered mitsubishi pickup.. no only was i getting great milage, the truck lasted 17 years and was still running when i sold it in 2002...
now im not saying it was perfect.. the 2.3 turbo could have used a little more power. but jeesh that was 85 technology, im sure diesels are alot better today..
