got a cutting torch today. i was in burlington getting some pool supplies, and i stopped into a pawn shop and saw a victor cutting torch set, used but not that bad of shape. asked the guy how much and he said 60 bucks. steal. he didnt know what somthing like that ran, but i tested it on a set of tanks he had, and it all worked, so i just got to get some gas now.
the regulator and all that are the same, you just need a propane tip. I generally run at 15 psi for the propane, and 40 for the oxygen. I also use a #1 tip. The #2 is too big and takes out too much material.
