1996 ford explorer fuel shut off switch

hello i have a 1996 ford explorer and i can not find the emergency fuel shut off switch.could somebody please tell me where this switch is located.thanks

It should be on the front passenger side, above the kick panel. Your manual should be more specific.

Also, make sure that the plug on the bottom of it is on tight.
