CFN station on Hwy 99 in Fife (just south of Tacoma Wa) is carrying B100. Current price $2.71 - You don't have to be a member and pumps will accept Visa/MC debit or credit. Station is just off I-5 at Port of Tacoma exit by Flying J. They have regular diesel as well so you can mix as I do.
Station is open 24hrs . Be sure and stop by if your needing some.
Reg diesel is about $2.56.

 

What mix are you using?

 

Well I am trying to keep it around 20% bio but since I will be be mixing this manualy I don't know how thats going to work as I will have residule left over in the tank on each fillup. Will probley just put in 5gal bio each fillup for a while then at some point not put any in and just run a full tank of dino to bring the % back down. It's an experiment right now that I still need to work out the logistics on. Would like to run B20 and have read some guys running on B80 for the 6.0L without any problems but I don't have pre-mix avail and am a little nervous getting to much bio since I only got 14K on my 04.

 

Thanks! I hear there is a station in South Seattle. If I can find it I might try the 20% mix though I'm running a new rebuild on a 7.3 IDI and probably don't have as much to be concerned about as you do. Does the 80% Dino raise the gel point enough so a person doesn't have to worry about it or should a person keep one tank 100% Dino and run on it long enough before shut down to make sure the bio is purged from the filter and injectors?

I don't think gelling is that big of problem with bio particularly if you have any amount of dino mixed in - even without dino I know lots of these VW drivers are running B100 with no mods to the vehicles. I do know when you first start running bio, it will clean out the fuel system and fuel tank and you will need to change fuel filters a couple times after running it thru. Mine is due for new filters soon anyways so was going to run a couple more tanks thru before I changed them. I would assume once you have got most of the dino gunk out and keep bio in the system you should be able to change filters on reg sched (15K).
