Hello from dayton

Hello everyone, new to the forums, thought i would say hello, I recently bought a 69 F100, 2wd long bed 360 three speed, Its in pretty good shape for its age..still in original paint, rust isnt too bad..door bottoms are gone, bottom of tailgate is gone and hood hinge rails, already have replacements for those, gotta start somewhere LOL. Am looking forwards to the info available here and hopefully getting to share some ideas/stories..thanks...Dennis

Welcome! Lots of us in the Dayton area. Lots of good info on this board too. And your truck looks pretty good from what I can see...

Welcome to the O.C.
Like your truck. Reminds me of the 68 f100 I had about a decade ago. Boy was the cab rusted away.

Thanks for the welcome..Im sure there is gonna be a good bit of bodywork ahead, am looking forward to it, just found a 68 parts truck about half hour west of here, guy is asking 300 for it, body looks decent, has a 6 cylinder that hasnt run in 5 years, gonna try and get a look at it this week sometime, I got a real good deal on the 69, only paid 800 for it and it runs like new, other than one small tear in the seat the interior looks like its new. My other "Ford" is a 1948 8N Tractor..its been waiting a couple years to get a restoration started on it..looks like it just got bumped back again LOL
