another one rides the bus.
This is almost an extension of my 16" wheels on an F150. The "tires" I am getting now come complete with a bus.
Basically I am buying a "short bus" that is built on a GMC Vandura 1 ton dually. I know - wacky The best part is MY WIFE TOLD ME TO BUY IT! (This is the same woman who used to want me to gid rid of some of my trucks.)
The good is the 6 tires are excellent (dually), body's pretty good, and it has a good wheelchair lift. I have a buddy that will tow (or trailer) it the 4 miles to my house for me. The Bad - Appears it needs a head gasket - white smoke, runs (barely and like crap), and low on coolant. I figure it's a 350, and I should be able to fix or replace the engine pretty reasonably or else I think I can junk it and keep the wheels and tires.
When I get it home, I'll drain the oil. If there's no sign of water, I'll just dump it back in and check compression. Really wish it was a Ford for all the OBVIOUS reasons... plus I have a 351M laying around.
