This place may have them but there not cheap. You can also post up in the forum for your truck to see where other guy's have gotten them.
Can you buy the panels and rebuild it? It may be your best choice?
Good Luck!

I know these folks have a large inventory. http://www.coutus.com/
Maybe they have what you need. They are in Willimantic and I go there a lot as it is close by. You can shop on line, and even check inventory on line. Worth a shot. Good luck. This is a tough item to buy out of state, as shipping cost are prohibitive.

You definately need a replacement. Too much to do to bring it back I'm afraid, but then again, I am a novice at bodywork. You certainly would spend a lot for freight having it shipped, even if you found one on line. This is the type of item you would hope to locate nearby that you could pick up. Having said that, it's worth a shot advertsing here for one in the classified section. Sorry the local yard did not have what you want. I am sure they search locally as well on your behalf. There is another sight that you can use to search for a bed. Send one request and it goes to a hundred local yards. Here is the link. http://car-part.com/

That bed is in rough shape, but repairable. The problem is if your not a bodyman it will cost you more than 1200.00 to fix.
I found a bed for mine out of sheer luck, it needed work but my truck was a fleet side when I bought it and wanted a step side.
most of the parts that are needed can be fabricated but it takes time and if your paying time is money in the shop.

I am goin to wyo-tech out at the PA campus in october, so ill be learning how to do everything there, making customs frames, interiors, paint, body work, making my own suspension engines, etc. basiclly ill be learning most everything so ill definately be able to turn this into one great ride. recently i got another f150, a 1979. the truck used to be my dads, but he sold it to my uncle when he bought his new 98. so i told my uncle to give it back if he ever bought a new truck. well my uncle bought an 05 f150 courtesy of fords family plan discount so the 79 is back at home with me. Its a 2wd, 300 ci straight six, 4 speed with the granny gear. it is also an "explorer" model. dont know too much about what thats means but would love to find out cause the explorer logo is on the hood emblum and on both sides of the very back of the bed near the top (need a new explorere badge for the side if anyone has one handy) so i now have 3 f150's and my dad has his. Hopefully ill be able to do some good restoration work on the bed of the 84 in the near future, ill keep you posted.
thanks
