I have not done this, but I am quite sure you would need something along the lines of 4.5-5 inches to get the tires away from each other far enough so as not to have heat build up from them. The tires bulge past a regular rim by 2", so if you double that it would have you at 4" and that would have the tires on each other. You may have to see about finding a different off set for the bud wheels to get that size on the back. Good luck

i figured it up as 315 is 80 mm wider than a 235 , so 100mm is almost 4 inches, with the narrow rims like what is on i didnt think the tire would swell out in the side wall like the 235, so i was figuring 4 inch should clear, but i dont know.

Hey 4" will work but u will have alot of space between your rear duals. U only need a 2" spacer to run 315/75/16 (on each side eh!)
hope this helps,
cheers

hey the only rim that i know of for the dually is a 6", the mtrs are suppost to be on a (I think) a 8" rim, but i run them on my stock rim. I know of a few guys that use this size on stock rims. They look good!

Hey i cant post pics, not sure why, if u want a pic of the my dually with the spacers installed send me a email. The spacers from ebay are a lower quality tha the ones from wheel adapters.com, i used the spacers from wheeladapters.com and when u install them u have to put the first wheel on, slide out the axle, put on the spacer, then slide the axle back in, and bolt on the outside wheel. Takes a few minutes more on each side but the spacer is made with a little taper on the inside dia and fits really good. The spacers ARE hub centric, the ebay spacers are not hub centric, they use a different wheel stud than your stock lug nuts and will have to buy nuts. The money u save on the spacers on ebay will go towards new wheel nuts. So hope this helps.

cheers

Hey markpruitt63,
did u end up putting the 315's on your dually? Im going to get some 17" dually wheels(when i can find some) for my next set of 37" mtrs. The mtrs work great in the snow, mud and hwy.
cheers
