Question Transmission

Any of you guys/gals know where I can find a wrecked 92 F-150 with an e4od transmission?? Preferably somewhere neer Savannah. I am getting desperate I just got my truck running good and the tranny went. Any idea what kind of tranny I could replace it with? That Electronic overdrive is not worth a ******!
Cost too much money to replace.

The E4od was redone from '93 forward. I don't know anything about the Savannah area, I'm northeast of Atlanta. There is the 365 Salvage yard up near Banks County that has acres and acres of wrecks. You might look up their number and give them a call. Check with the transmission forum and see if a '93 and up will be a bolt on fix.
