Power window(SLOW)

Hey guys just wondering if any one had a problem with there power windows sticking. It seems if its hot out the windows go down real slow, but if its cool out no problem they go down perfect. Is there a grease or a kit to maybe fix the plastic wheels so as to stop the sticking. Thanks guys

I had the exact opposite problem-hot outside windows worked fast, cold outside windows worked slow. Since the truck was still under warranty took it to the stealership for them to charge me $75.00 to grease the window tracks, the next week it got cold and guess what...... took it back to the stealership they replaced my window motors but would not return the $75.00 because "they still needed to be lubed" yea right!! that was the last $$$ they will ever get from me.

I recently read a how-to article in popular mechanics on the subject with suggestions for remedying various power window ailments. Mine are someqhat slow and I am planning on digging the copy out of my son's room sometime for tips.
He is 14, so finding the magazine isn't as easy as just going in there to get it. I may need S&R dogs to find it!
But, they might have that article online or vist your local library. I think it was published within the last 3-4 issues. Late 94 or early 95.

Slow Windoes: Yes they need lube but it is the tracks and guides more often than not.
Use LPS 3 silicon spray and spray the channels with enough to get them wet all the way down in the door. Run the window up and down several times to disperse the lube. This needs to be done about once a year as the tracks dry out. This will save you a moter and other expensive parts that wear from stress.
