'03 Harley lowering/rims questions
I'm new to this forum, I just got ahold of an '03 Harley, silver black. It's already lowered in the back to level it out, but I want to put a little more drop on it. I was considering the Eibach pro kit, which gives it a 2/4.5" drop from stock. Any suggestions on how to switch out the hangers? I read about the shackles already. Any reviews on the eibach suspension or sugestions for others? Also, I wanted to run some 22" rims, 285/35/22 on it...will they fit, or will I need to stay with the 20"s? I figured this was the place to get the most advice from people with experiance.

For switching out the stock hangers, you first use a cutting wheel to make a cut across the top of each rivet, then use an air chisel to cut the heads off. Then you can pound out the rivets through the frame.
For the tires, you have guessed the right size of tire--they will fit. You can put on 295's in the rear.
