tempo no go
my mother- in -law has a 94 tempo 4cyl. She had a busted heater core hose in which the "mechanic" took off the intake manifold to replace. After replacement, the car ran really rough. the "mechanic" said she must have overheated the car and blew a head gasket. I didn't buy it. I could get the car to run if I unplugged both of the air intake control butterfly's. I called the mechanic and told him. He came back and Insisted the head was shot. I got another person to look at it and he came to the same conclusion. now nothing I do can get the car started. no one did a compression check. I still do not belive that the head or head gasket is blown. I think something may have fallen into the motor when the intake was taken off. anyone have any insight on this. thanks.
