Angry Used Parts??

Does anyone know of any good salvage yards in the Augusta area. I live outside of Columbia SC, and theseCarolin folks around here don't have anything I can find.... I'm specifically looking for parts for a 73-79 trucks.

Thanks All....

Mike

I'm in Augusta, so here's a partial list: Gibbs, Fenders', Don's, Graves (North Augusta, S.C.), just to name a few. Harley's has some older stuff, but I'm not sure if he sells parts, or complete vehicles only.

Thanks,
I'm just east of Columbia SC, and I haven't been able to find any decent junk yards around here. I was asking about Augusta, because:

1-- It's fairly close, about 2 hours
2-- I'm there about every other weekend to get my kids from my ex wife and figured I could shop around there sometime..

Do you know if any of them will allow me to cut the front 2 feet or so off of the frame? The PO of my truck did a hack job on the front bumper, now I have to cut about 1 1/2 foot off and weld a new peice on.

Thanks,
Mike

Mike,

One I did not mention is Ballard Truck Parts at 2054 Old Savannah Road, just off the Gordon Highway at Old Savannah. I just bought the back two-thirds of a Ford van to make a trailer. Number is 706-724-2651. Mr. Ballard carries a cordless phone with him, but he is not open on Saturdays.

Hey thanks...
I'll be going home (Athens) the first weekend in March. Can I hook up with ya then? We take I20 through Augusta...
