My valentines plan
Liven things up he said.
For V day this year I'm having a big (200#) rock carved. It'll say "Didi, I love you, Dan" on one side, and a heart like you'd see carved in a tree with "Didi+Dan" on the back side. Then the weekend before V-day I'm going to place it in the parking lot of where she works. She hates having public attention drawn to herself.
The original idea called for a junk BroncoII with 'I love you' spray painted all over it parked next to her truck at work, but I junked the BroncoII.

I also have a 5ft tall plywood Valentines Day "card" in my garage from last year. It looks like something a 7yr old would make from construction paper and macaroni, but alot bigger! That was infront of our house last year.
The first year I did anything, I made a CD of me singing Stevie Wonder's "You Are the Sunshine of My Life" (we both think the song sucks) without any music in the background (I can't see either). Then I put it in her truck stereo and removed all the other CD's from her truck. When she went to work that morning she had to pull of the road because she couldn't see - form laughing so hard.
After this time I think she'll be happy to get a card or flowers!

200# with a little help, isn't too bad for a couple strong guys, otherwise gonna have to get a fork lift or loader of some kind... but isn't that bad an idea, and it can be removed if you ever really wanted to, or buried...maybe put it on a trailer of some sort, then you don't have to reload, or a tilt bed and you could roll it... hmm...
