Sport Trac with a camper shell!!!!

i am strongly thinking about putting a camper shell on my 04 sport trac. i've been thinking about it for a while now. i've seen a few of them here in utah and it looks freakin awesome i think. i want it for a few reason though. one, it makes it look sleek. two, we could really use the cargo space when i PCS. and three, it provides a huge lock-a-way storage for my stroller and groceries. and not only that, it'll keep my bed un-full of snow.

here is a link of it. let mek now what you guys think. i found a good price on one today. http://www.raider.ca/images/52ESTVAG.jpg its 907 but with military discount, its 850 and no tax and installed.

a LEER dealer wanted 1585 plus tax.

that looks pretty cool. The security and lack of snow in the bed are big benefits. Have they made it clear if they will mount it with j-hooks thru exist stake holes or drill into the bed rails? My last PU with a shell was a 89 Ranger and I wished they hadn't drilled through the painted rails (potetial rust location), and I'm not up on the latest bed hardware on your machine. Does the front of the shell have a window or do you get a pass-thru boot from the back of the cab even with slide window left in? that is handy too. In any case, you'll probably enjoy the new shell. good luck!

the place i'm getting it done has said they've done a half dozen sport tracs in the past but all of them had no bed cover. and since mine has a bed cover, they can't use the regular hooks in there. the company has some special clamps that will clamp the shell but bolt right into the threaded hole thats right into the cover. its goes all the way thru. i think these holes are there for a factory tonneau cover.

i don't know if the cover has a front class that can go up and down, i'll have to see. i'd like if it it does,
