According to Consumer Reports Frequency-Of-Repair charts for 1999, the '91-'93 are the worst and '96 are the best.

1995-1997 are the best. The worse are the first three years. They had a lot of problems including the ribs coming off the inside of the cargo van.

 

the first three years of any auto run are bound to be trouble. a new design is going to have some flaws, and over the years they make improvements to the design and manufacture of things.

my 91 and 95 have both been amazingly reliable, tough, abusable, efficient, affordable, and really really multi-function rigs!
