Blinking "Theft " Light

My wife informed me that her 00" Explorer has a blinkinh "theft" light. No noticable difference in driving or unlocking the doors. I don't know where to start on this one, any suggestions.

anti theft relay in the electronics box under the hood is real cold or stuck open. replace it.
