Deer Hunting in North AL

How is it? Round here there are all the does you could eat with a few bucks sprinkled in. No season bag limit on does, they are trying to thin down the population with little success as much land as they're grazing.

Come on now, that can't be true. E'ryone knows people from south the tennessee river can't fire a rifle. I was just afraid they had them florida deer, bout the size of a labrador. Plus I was figuring that I was moving in too much of an affluent area.

By the way, you like that new F-150? I haven't ridden in one but see alot of them, kinda stealing the looks from the superduty.

In north AL the deer huntin should be good. Not as many deer up there then in the black belt but better size. I'm not sure how many doe days you get in the northern part of the state it different in every county. The new F150 is great except for the vibration I'm hopin Ford will buy the truck back had a hearing this week should know something next week.

I've bagged three this year, all does, two smaller ones and one about 5 years wieghing in at 180. I got about eight pounds of backstrip out of her. Mmmm, had biscuits, hashbrowns and fried backstrip last night.

seen a few big ones in limestone own some property up there. Found out they have introduced some Michigan genes in that area. Bucks can get pretty good size. there are also some that do breeding up there and you should see the size of just the 3 years olds behind the fencing, and yes sometimes they get out.
