thinking about looking at my wifes superduty to see if theres a way.......

what axle is under a f350 srw 2000

 

Hopefully someone will reply, I have the same truck and would like to have better stopping power. I also want to go to slotted rotors on the front.

 

the axle under your wifes 2000 is a 10.5 Sterling rear end, similar to the rear end under your truck. The bolt pattern is different and the abs wont work.

 

i know the bolt pattern is differnt, its metric im wondering how i could get the abs sensors to work.....if i built a bracket to hold the newer rear rotors.....

Check superduty cargo vans they have rear disks and are still the old boltpattern. Boss has a 03 psd van that we where surprised to find has the old 8 bolt patern and not the new metric.

 

nice thanks eckart hmmm..... is that on a single rear or dual?? the next mission is the brake porportioning valve. i could just use a wilwood valve so i can adjust it but im wondering about brake master compatibility. i know when i put disks on the back of my 85 toyota and my landcrusier i had i needed a diffenrt master. does anybody know what the differnce mechanically the masters are?? does that van have hydralic brake boost or vaccume? is there a parking brake in thoose discs? like whats on the superduty? im pretty sure the abs system is the same its just a hall effect sensor on the rotor with the pick up on the axle.

 

Its a normal bodystyle E350 psd work van with single rear wheels.
