hmm. how to put this ...............

Well I've stuck alot of money($10,000+) in my truck I guess you could say I love doing things like this but Its time for somthing new I'll still be help out any way I can with the chapter. I'm ether trading the truck in or selling it. A good friend mine is an auto mechanic and has always told me buy forgien and buy new when ever possible so I'm cutting my losses and getting out (this is a hint of what I'am buying and its not a truck). not there is really anything wrong with my truck but it has hit me hard in the pocket book this last year. So If anybody looking for a truck(or another truck) e-mail me and please let me know if the chapter would still like to have me as a member.

being a member of the chapter doensn't require you own one, and what you have learned through having yours is valuable information. As I see it, there is no reason for you to not be allowed... not that I knew of any restrictions on being a member anyway. You still are the same, no matter what you drive, and I can't imagine your participation changing only because you had to let it go.

yeah But It started small and built it way up there. I might have it all worked out but I'll never see my money out of it. so its ether sell it and cut my losses or keep it for life. Ifigured out my cost and I just don't like the idea That I spent that much money on a 13 year old truck.

I had to do that with my old 75 highboy. I had so much money dumped into it, and still had a motor that was substandard, trans that was temperamental, steering that needed a new box, the old one nearly broke my knucles before the hose blew, brakes that needed rebuilt, again, bad transfer case, front and rear axles had different gear ratios due to an individual who didn't know what they had, claimed it a 4.10, was a 3.73, but I was in a tough spot, had to have it moving, lets see, more work, the body had a bad cab mount, should have replaced it when I did the other, wiring problems, the steering column was the standard garbage, on and on and on.... I just decided to quit while I was behind, because I couldn't see how or why I could get caught up.

it depends on what you have gotten back from them, mine was still about as good as a parts truck, and needed all that. I unloaded it cheap, because that was what it was worth. At least you have something to show for your investment.
