Hello all, My wife and I are restoring our 79 F-150 2WD. Currently the engine (302) and tranny (C-6) are being rebuild and the entire suspension is already done. We are starting the interior next month and will be looking to purchase door panels, carpet, dash bezel and we are thinking about installing Bucket Seats with a center console. If anyone as any items that will fit our plans please let us know. We are really glad we found FTE adn look forward to communicating with some of you in the future.

Glad to have another Puebloan here! We are sort of a rare breed it seems. You'll find FTE a great resource, tons of information and everyone willing to share their expertise.

Welcome!

You found this forum much quicker than I did. Then again, I linked to the FE forum and didn't bother exploring the site for a few months.

Welcome to the group...I have a 79 250 4x with a rebuilt 400, rebuilding (or trying to) the tranny next week. Nice to see another 70's truck in here...There are lots of places offering new repo parts for our truck, at a ...decent...price. But, if youre wnting something that just looks good and isnt expensive, try going junkyard hoppin and see what you come up with. Good luck.

Thank you for the information. I went junkyard playing last week. Most everything has been picked clean. I am getting alot of good information where to look and of course the net has several places that offer parts. It is addicting and alot of fun. Again, thank you for the info,

Tom
