Whats the cost per us gallon, for regular fuel, in us funds? I heard in Europe its about $6.oo dallors per gallon is that close?

In Canadian, that worked out to about $8.50 cdn / imp ga

or about $5.95 usd/us gal.

 

In 1983, i worked at a fuel stationed next to the border, we had Canadians come over for fuel. We sent up the four pumps for canadian funds and they run all day long, unreal. Do you have a chance to fill up in the states? The owner at this fuel station ( first fuel station from the border) made so much money that he now lives in a huge home over-looking the town, and double the size of the station to include milk and cigs. I hope your fuel price will go down soon.

In Canada right now it is different depending on where you live.

The Oil companies are nototious for Higher fuel prices in Heavily populated cities.

Calgary = $0.82.9/litre
Red Deer =$0.84.9/litre
Town of Innisfail = $0.81.9/litre

Well guys, here in Colombia, an oil-exporting country (actually 1% of the oil consumed in the US comes from Colombia), gas prices have doubled in just three years (ever since I bought my Bronco). Colombian gasoline used to be one of the cheapest in the world (especially during the 1980s), now the gallon of regular, 89-octane gasoline/petrol is like $5.100 colombian pesos, or US$2.00. The government here says that's still cheap compared to international oil prices which are rising, especially the WTI standard as opposed to the Brent (Europe). The problem is not just the gas prices themselves, but the fact that per capita income in Colombia is just about US$2.500/year so you can imagine gasoline here becoming a luxury item, especially for us, Bronco owners. As a result, and fearing a future shortage, the government is giving incentives for conversion to compressed natural gas, which Colombia has decent reserves as well, thus realizing a 50% savings in fuel costs, I'm considering it myself, after having spoken to some people, some of them even Bronco owners. By the way, I was in Venezuela last july and there you could fill up a Bronco for around US$3.00!!!, here in Colombia it takes like US$60!

I can only imagine how many hundred dollars you have to pay for a sniff of gasoline over there at the moment...

I recall when I was in Norway in 2003 it worked out to be like US$8.00 a gallon!!!!

 

It must be real hard on the wallet to go 4 wheeling in some countries? Everyone here says $2.00 US per gallon is to much.

 

Mike L, you're correct about fuel prices in Europe. I live in Germany, and fuel is quite expensive right now.

Diesel runs about $5.40 (USD) per Gallon, and standard Unleaded Gasoline starts at $6.75 (USD) per Gallon. If you use Super Unleaded or Supreme Unleaded you can expect to pay around $7.00 (USD) or more per gallon.

I have lived here for a couple of years and gas has gone up about $0.50 gallon to what it is now and Diesel has gone up about $0.50. I am a little more fortunate since I am U.S. military. I still pay $2.40 gallon for super unleaded and 30 gallons of diesel costs me $60.00. There are still people driving all over the place here, so guess they just deal with it or walk.

 

Hi, I live in Norway, fuel cost has always been high here. Even that we are pumping a lot of oil and gas from the North Sea, we have to pay about 6 - 6.50 USD a gallon!
But I still drive my -57 F-100 nearly every day in the summer.....

Hi, I am from germany.
Diesel today costs about 92 ct / liter = 3,70 USD / gal.
Gasoline is much more expensive.
Anybody near Heidelberg or Stuttgart in germany. May we can drink together
a (small...) beer.

 

Price today in Britain I paid 84.9p per litre

=£3.85 per imperial gallon (5.54 litres) or $7.25 US
or $6.048 US per US gallon (3.73 litres)

 

I don't think I 'm going to wine about gas cost any more. LOL In US (florida)1.83+/- per. gal.. Diesel 2.05 to 2.15 per gal.

 

ups....and I thought Germany is expensive....
