MB guy looking for Ford parts help :)
Looking for a Dana 60 front 77-79 for my F250. Anyone live close
enough out here - couple days drive from Winnipeg? Let me know what you've got and want for it.
If I am grabbing a 60 anyways..anyone with a strong running 400M with correct 4x4 oil pan..I would be interested in that too. Heck if you have an entire truck I may just take that.
Oh and if anyone has a nice chrome tailgate handle and a dash pad for a 67-72 that would be great too.
Anyone ever hear of 20" 8 bolts? Talking to some old timers the other day, they said they used to come on old duallys.... would be cool to get a set.
Thanks

400m engine in Minnesota
I've got a 79 400m engine still in the remains of the truck it was being used in. The truck is junk (salt and age) but the engine ran in August. It's located about an hour north of Minneapolis, and I'll gladly sell the engine for $100. The axles are gone, and the transmission only goes in reverse (that last part from the guy I bought the truck from) The carb needs definite attention. I couldn't get it to run because the gas tanks are both rusted through so I rigged up a gascan to gravity feed to the carb. When it started (within seconds of turning the key) I shut it off right away to check everythng under the hood (I'm an ex-firefighter and hate to burn things down unless I plan them) The throttle linkage was gone, so I knew I'd have to throttle it by hand, and when I restarted it, the carb was spraying gasoline all over the top of the engine. Geysering would be a good description. Anyway, if you'd be interested, let me know, and I'll see about getting it pulled.
