Adapter
I installed a T5 in my 1950 Ford Convertible and will be doing the same in my 50F1. Although no documentation per se, I can help you somewhat.
I bought a 1 inch thick aluminum plate 12"X12"X1". I took the plate to my machinist with my bell housing and T5. I had holes drilled for recessed cap screws holding adapter to bellhousing and he also machined the hole opening for the input shaft as well as locating the T5 and drilling the holes in plate to attach the T5.
Yes I have pictures but am not sure how to insert them as I am a new member

T5 Adapter
The T-5 was form a 88 S-10 and was 125.00. It had 65,000 miles on it and had evidence of recent repairs (blue goop). I put it in and it worked.
The longer output shaft on the T-5 and the 1" Adapter plate equaled the length of the output shaft of the cars overdrive. I had about 3/8 of an inch available to cut off the very end new output shaft, if necessary. But it was not necessary.

The diference is significant.
You would end up building a pyramid looking device that would be a bear to align.
I would look for someone to swap bellhousings with.
A lot of people look for the truck bellhousings when they want to put a late Flatmotor in an older vehicle and keep the original tranny.
I'm looking for a car bellhousing now so that I can mount a Ford Top Loader in my Panel.
