I have a 2002 Explorer. The ABS light is on. I have tracked down the location of the front wheel sensors, but can not locate the sensor(s) for the rear wheels. Can anyone tell me where to find the rear wheel sensors?
I'd like to know myself. My light came on about 2 weeks ago but I haven't had a chance to get in and find any of them yet. Gonna try to replace it tonight.
Usually that sensor goes bad before the others. Easy to replace, but may be stuck in the housing pretty good. Use some petroleum jelly and coat the o-ring of the new sensor before install. All the speed sensors should read no more than 3-4 mph apart. If they read more than that, it will set a light and a code.
