I have a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport and my drivers side fog lamp went out. I bought a new bulb (part 899) but can not for the life of me figure out how to get access to the fog lamp to take out the old bulb and put the new on in. Can someone please give me instructions on how to do this? I am not very good at auto repair and am just learning so would really really appreciate it!

Not sure if they're the same, but here is what my manual says for the 2003 Explorer fog light replacement.

You may want to check your '01 Owners Manual and see what it says.
